LOCAL, CHEMICAL FREE -- Starts Early December
The Winter CSA starts in December and provides a weekly box of in-season produce including lettuces (many varieties throughout the season), mesclun, braising greens, cabbages, bok choy, kale, mizuna, tatsoi, broccoli, rabe (rapini), brussel sprouts, cauliflower, kohlrabi, turnip greens, collards, African and Asian greens, spinach, mustard, arugula, chard, carrots, beets, scallions, turnips, radish, winter squash, and sweet potatoes.

Egg Option: You can get a dozen pasture raised eggs delivered each week with your CSA. Select the Egg Option at checkout (if you want multiple eggs per week just email and let us know).

Meat Option: You can a box of our grass-fed and pasture raised meats delivered the first week of each month of your Produce CSA. Select the Monthly Meat Option at checkout.

Fish Option: You can get a 1lb weekly fresh caught fish from our friends at Locals Seafood. Al fresh fish is caught on the NC coast, packed on ice and delivered each week with your produce CSA.

Milk Option: We have made an arrangement with Ran-Lew Dairy in Snow Camp to provide their all-natural, non-GMO, minimally pasteurized and non-homogenized milk as part of our weekly CSA deliveries. A 12 Week CSA add-on of a half gallon size of Whole Milk is $60 (order as many as you like).

Pay-As-You-Go/Choose-Your-Own CSA option: We offer a different CSA option where you only get the items you order each week instead of a pre-determined box. This option allows you to pick the items you want each week and only charges your credit card when you order. You can subscribe to the Pay-As-You-Go CSA instead of the Standard CSA here: PAYGO-CSA

Terms: All of our CSA boxes are the same which means you are not able to select what goes in your box. We only provide locally grown, in-season produce so if you are expecting summer type produce in your CSA box in the Winter or if you want to choose the contents of your box each week, you will be disappointed and should not subscribe. A CSA subscription fee of $300 per season is due at sign-up and is non-refundable for any reason once deliveries have begun.
