Community Supported Agriculture - CSA - Produce Box - Share Program Coon Rock Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and Weekly Share Program For Produce, Meat, Eggs, Milk and Fresh Fish We are now accepting subscriptions for our 12 week Produce CSA Spring Season! Click To Order A Produce CSA is a great way to get farm fresh, local produce all season long. Each week you will receive a box including of locally grown, in-season vegetables, roots and herbs. We grow a large variety of produce on 10 acres of intensely planted gardens and have 3 solar greenhouses that allow us to grow warm season crops earlier and cool season crops later into the season. You can expect 5 to 6 different items in each weekly box. A Produce CSA subscription fee of $300 per season is due at sign-up and is non-refundable for any reason once deliveries have begun. Optional Eggs CSA: We also offer a weekly egg supplement to our Produce CSA. You can get a dozen pasture raised and antibiotic free eggs delivered each week with your CSA box. Eggs are $96 for the 12 weeks. Optional Meat CSA: We also offer a 3 month Meat CSA in conjunction with our Produce CSA. You can get a Meat CSA delivery the first week of each month with pasture raised, grass-fed and heritage breed meats directly from our farm. Each box includes a mixture of chicken, beef, pork and lamb. The Meat CSA is $300 for 3 months. Optional Fish CSA: You can get a 1lb weekly fresh, wild-caught fish option from our friends at Locals Seafood. All fresh fish is caught on the NC coast, packed on ice and delivered each week with your produce CSA. The Fish CSA is $300 for 3 months. Optional Milk CSA: We also offer a weekly milk supplement to our Produce CSA . You can get whole or low-fat milk from Ran-Lew Dairy delivered each week with your CSA box. Milk is $60 for the 12 weeks. Contact Free Home Delivery: We offer no contact HOME DELIVERY for a $96/season fee or pickup on-farm on Wednesdays for Free! Durham area addresses are delivered on Tuesdays and all other Triangle/Triad locations are delivered on Wednesday. Delivery Area: We deliver throughout the Triangle and Triad areas including: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Apex, Garner, Cary, Wake Forest, Youngsville, Creedmoor, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, Louisburg, Mebane, Burlington, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Hillsborough. Spring Produce CSA (March - May): Expect Lettuces (many varieties throughout the season), Mesclun lettuce mix, Braising greens mix, Cabbage, Chinese/Napa cabbage, Bok Choy, Kale, Mizuna, Tatsoi, Broccoli, Broccoli rabe (rapini), Kohlrabi, Turnip greens, Collards, African and Asian specialty greens, Spinach, Mustard, Arugula, Chard, Scallions, Carrots, Beets, Turnips, Radish, Green Garlic, Leeks, and Sweet Potatoes. Summer Produce CSA (June - August): Early in the season expect lettuce, mesclun, arugula, bok choy, cabbage, kale, greens, herbs, broccoli rabe, broccoli, spinach, turnips, lamb’s quarter, Swiss chard, beets, radish, carrots, green onions, and various herbs. Mid-season adds squash, zucchini, patti-pan, sugar snap peas, snow peas, Vidalia-style bulb onions, garlic, French fillet green beans (haricot vert), and potatoes. Late Summer brings heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, beans, peas, sweet peppers, eggplant, Irish potatoes, heirloom fingerling potatoes, onions, sweet corn, okra, cantaloupe, honey dew, various exotic melons, edamame soybeans, and field peas. Fall Produce CSA (September - December): Early in the season you may get late season eggplant, okra, squash or beans. Otherwise, expect Lettuces (many varieties throughout the season), Mesclun lettuce mix, Braising greens mix, Cabbage, Chinese cabbage, Bok Choy, Kale, Mizuna, Tatsoi, Broccoli, Broccoli rabe (rapini), Brussel sprouts, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi, Turnip greens, Collards, African and Asian specialty greens, Spinach, Mustard, Arugula, Chard, Carrots, Beets, Turnips, Radish, Winter Squash, and Sweet Potatoes. Details and Fine Print: - We grow all of our own produce but at times we will source some items from other local, organic farms to make up for any crop failures or shortages we may have so that we can make sure you have a full box each week. - All of our CSA boxes are the same which means you are not able to select what goes in your box. We only provide locally grown, in-season produce so if you are expecting summer type produce in your CSA box in the Winter or if you want to choose the contents of your box each week, you will be disappointed and should not subscribe. - Holding a box for another week. We realize people travel and some weeks you may not want your CSA box. Just let us know by Saturday at midnight and we will HOLD your box for that week and you can request a MAKEUP box to replace it at any other time during the season.
